Independent, third-party research is the foundation of IR activities

Discover companies on Channelchek are companies that have been “discovered” by a research analyst from Noble Capital Markets. Here is how the discovery process works. The analysts perform initial due diligence on companies they wish to follow (write equity research and follow the progress of the company for an extended period). If they like what they see, the process moves forward, usually involving the analyst engaging in dialogue with the management of the target company. If the analyst is then interested in initiation of coverage, he/she places the company on an internal (Noble) “approved” list. The company is then contacted to discuss the feasibility of coverage through company-sponsored research (CSR - the company pays the provider of the research).
On the surface, CSR may sound like a conflict of interest; it is the opposite. There are no “pay-to-play” arrangements wherein research coverage is offered at no cost in exchange for investment banking services. With CSR, the company covers the costs associated with the analyst’s work but NOT his or her opinion. Each analyst who provides research on Channelchek is a FINRA-licensed, highly regulated equity research analyst who must attest to the independence and integrity of their opinion on every research report.
