Vanguard Canadian Government Bond Index ETF

The investment objective of Vanguard Canadian Government Bond Index ETF (the ETF) is to track, to the extent reasonably possible and before fees and expenses, the performance of the Bloomberg Global Aggregate Canadian Government Float Adjusted Bond Index (the Index or the Benchmark). The Index is a market capitalization-weighted index that measures the investment return of public, investment-grade government fixed income securities issued in Canada with maturities of more than one year. The fund seeks to track, to the extent reasonably possible and before fees and expenses, the performance of a broad Canadiangovernment bond index. Currently, this Vanguard ETF seeks to track the Bloomberg Global Aggregate Canadian GovernmentFloat Adjusted Bond Index (or any successor thereto). It invests primarily in public, investment-grade government fixed incomesecurities issued in Canada.
