RBC U.S. Banks Yield (CAD Hedged) Index ETF
Overview
The ETF invests substantially all of its assets in units of the RBC U.S. Banks Yield Index ETF (the underlying RBC ETF), while seeking to minimize exposure to currency fluctuations between the U.S. dollar and the Canadian dollar. The ETF may also invest directly in and hold the constituent securities of the Solactive U.S. Bank Yield NTR (CAD Hedged) Index or securities intended to replicate the performance of the index The ETF uses derivatives to hedge against fluctuations in the U.S. dollar to minimize exposure to changes in the U.S. dollar relative to the Canadian dollar. The Solactive U.S. Bank Yield NTR (CAD Hedged) Index is an index that includes equity securities of the 21 largest banks based on market capitalization and weighted based on their indicative annual yields such that the seven highest dividendĀæyielding U.S. bank stocks each receive a 7.14% weight, the next seven highest dividendĀæyielding bank stocks receive a 4.
