Third quarter falls short of expectations. Xerox reported third-quarter revenue of $1.87 billion, largely in line with our estimate, while adjusted EBITDA of $193 million was 12.8% below our forecast. Gross margin of 29.2% was approximately 370 basis points below our estimate, reflecting higher input costs and an unfavorable equipment mix, which more than offset lower operating expenses.
Lexmark savings remain on track. Following our discussions with management, we believe the company remains confident in achieving approximately $100 million of incremental Lexmark integration savings in 2027. Additional opportunities in automation, AI, organizational simplification, and facility consolidation could deliver further benefits, though the timing and magnitude of these savings remain uncertain.
